Here is a suggested itinerary. We are happy to customize a tour according to your interests. The time frame is just for your reference. It could be different due to the traffic on the day.
Your guide will contact you the day before departure and tell you the exact meeting time and place. You’ll be picked up by private car or van, and then head to Tiananmen Square.
If you book a flight layover trip, we can pick you up from the airport and start the tour according to your schedule.
Start your tour with the Tian’anmen Square. There is a lot of history to tell about Tian’anmen Square. The famous buildings in the square have witnessed many important events in China.
Walk from the square to the Forbidden City. Discover the deep secrets of the emperors and concubines during the Ming and Qing dynasties in 12 places, while other group tours only visit 6–8 places. The walking is graded as being easy, but it is for about 2 hours (2 kilometers).
Head for the Great Wall from downtown of Beijing.
Have a rest and enjoy some delicious Beijing dishes for lunch at our well-selected local restaurant. Your guide will help you order the dishes according to your preferences.
In the afternoon, we will hike on the Mutianyu Great Wall. This section is ranked top on TripAdvisor among all the Great Wall sections due to its picturesque scenery and beautifully restored architecture.
In order to save your time, we will arrange a round-trip cable car to ascend and descend the wall, instead of spending about 40 minutes on steps… twice.
Your personal guide will walk with you on the Wall to give you some information and to help you if you want photos with the Wall.
Going back to your hotel in Beijing normally takes about 1½ hours. We will transfer you to your hotel.
If you would like to be dropped off at any other location in downtown or need to catch a flight or a train, we are happy to help you arrange it.

Booking Terms
A **$5 non‑refundable booking fee** applies to all packages for 1‑10 persons. Pay the $5 booking fee upfront to secure your reservation. The remaining balance shall be paid directly to your guide upon on‑site meeting.
Example: For the 5‑person package (Total $1,115), pay $5 booking fee in advance, then settle the balance of $1,110 USD with the guide when you meet.
For groups larger than 10 people: pricing is calculated based on the 10‑person base rate plus additional surcharge for each extra attendee. The $5 booking fee still applies.
Booking at least 24 hours in advance is required.
Required booking information: nationality / country of origin, number of adults & children, preferred tour date and starting time.
Important notice:
For our one‑day tour covering Beijing’s Forbidden City and the Great Wall, please note an important limitation: we cannot guarantee successful booking of Palace Museum (Forbidden City) tickets. Tickets are consistently in high demand and difficult to secure.
Please also be advised that the USD 5 booking fee is non‑refundable. This fee covers our service of attempting to secure Palace Museum admission tickets on your behalf.
If we fail to obtain the tickets for you, you may opt for one of the following alternatives:
Visit the Summer Palace or another attraction of your choice as a replacement;
Visit Tiananmen Square and the outer sections of the Palace Museum complex instead.
